Turning 25 ✨🫶

After a long year of being 24 here are some things I learned :

1. Don’t take life for granted . After experiencing grief, I realized how crucial it is to say I love you more , hug the people you love ,& remind yourself life is great when you wake up another day. ❤️

2. It’s okay to not feel okay . In my year of 24 I had lots of downs , I really had some days where I just couldn’t do it. I didn’t want to clean my room or even send a text back to a friend sometimes , but life can really kick you down and it’s hard sometimes and that’s completely okay just remind yourself to love your self a little extra in those moments .

3. Say screw it and just dance it out . Life can be stressful and a good song can get you grooving and moving , my serenity song is Sweet Child Of Mine & everytime I put it on I was like you know what life ain’t that bad haha . So find your serenity , whether it’s a song , a person , a book , or a place .

4. Celebrate the small things . We tend to overlook the small things , even just waking up like celebrate it ! Like seriously ?! You’re alive for a reason ! You got to work safely , like wow ! Celebrate that ! You got to see a friend , or a familiar face , celebrate that ! Little things like that just make the most of it, it really makes a difference and puts more meaning to the little things .

The list can go on , but every year I want to go over the lessons I learned and things I can take into perspective because really another birthday celebrated is another year to appreciate and I’m truly grateful and blessed to go on another year of living so cheers to my year of 25 . 💛🌱

Hope you follow me , I will be posting some apartment content soooon ! 🥰
