It clearly states, "And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you." This isn't just an arbitrary rule; for many, it's a foundational principle passed down through generations, guiding dietary choices for spiritual and physical well-being. This also extends to related products, which is why concepts like "pigs blood is unclean" are often part of these traditional dietary laws. Beyond the biblical directives, there are significant scientific reasons not to eat pork that resonate with these ancient guidelines.
