Dealing with Acne?

I have dealt with acne since like 15 years old. Old the bullying at school was in another level. I visited so many dermatologists and it just kept coming back, until I found the one. I get one or two pimples here and there before my period but that is it.
Acne can be more than just a skin concern; it often impacts confidence and social interactions. Many individuals, like myself, start facing this challenge during adolescence, and the journey to clear skin can be overwhelming. I struggled for years, consulting numerous dermatologists, only to find temporary solutions that didn't address the root cause. My turning point came when I found a dermatologist who tailored a plan specific to my needs. She emphasized the importance of a simple yet effective skincare regimen, focusing on just the essentials. Adapting my approach meant identifying key products that worked for my skin type, which helped me reduce inflammation and breakouts. For instance, I learned to favor non-comedogenic moisturizers and gentle exfoliants that keep my skin healthy without causing irritation. Additionally, following her advice allowed me to minimize the number of products I used, thus streamlining my nighttime routine to just three steps. This not only simplified my self-care process but also decreased the chances of skin reactions to multiple ingredients. It's important to note that skin health varies from person to person. What worked for me may not be the solution for everyone. However, understanding the basics of what your skin needs can lead to effective management strategies. Regular check-ins with your skincare professional can help adapt your routine as your skin changes over time, especially around hormonal fluctuations when breakouts may intensify. Remember, clear skin is achievable, and it's about finding what suits you best!

I’ve ALWAYS had issues with my skin, after meeting multiple dermatologists that all wanted me to take accutane (I am not interested in accutane), I ended up seeing an online dermatologist because they can’t prescribe accutane and they gave me tretinoin. That stuff has CHANGED my skin!
