Soloprenuer Social Media
Are you a team of 1 trying to do it all? Me too.
I don’t have a lot of time to spend on content creation and I don’t want to spend a lot on subscriptions to make it all happen. Here’s my social media strategy to try and not lose my mind:
1. Pinterest is my main focus, its more passive and I can repurpose a lot.
-I use Metricool to upload all my pins at once. Woo!

2. Instagram is second for me. I am going to nurture my audience here using stories and some jewelry making reels.
I’m also changing my posts to an instasite. Taught by Amanda Kohal https://www.instagram.com/thewolfe.co/
-I love using Plain to schedule here, the prompts and access to stock photos is really helpful.

3. I have some loyal fans on Facebook so I don’t want to leave them out. I am going to autopost all my stories from IG over to Facebook.
4. Lemon8! This one is new and I’m loving it. Here I am going to share some modified Pinterest pins and some business tips. I am just waiting for Metricool to add Lemon8 support.
5. TikTok. I don’t want to leave this out, but I have to get more comfortable on camera. I am going to share my Lemon8 posts here and add some IG jewelry making reels to start.
6. Threads is my brain dump place, it’s where I go to share all my business thoughts and tips.
7. I love making things in Canva for all of the social media.
After all the planning and repurposing, I should only be making 2-3 types of posts and sharing them all around.
Next year I want to look into RelayThat in place of Canva (but I’m not sure anything could win over Canva), dropping Plann for Metricool (the all at once upload is kinda magical) and maybe some social media help with Social Bee.
What would you do differently?
As a solopreneur, navigating social media can feel daunting, but an efficient strategy can streamline your efforts and elevate your brand visibility. First, hone in on the power of Pinterest, which is excellent for passive marketing. Using tools like Metricool can make scheduling your posts effortless and allow you to repurpose content effectively. Next, Instagram should be on your radar—engagement is key here. Utilize stories and create impactful jewelry-making reels to attract your audience. With apps like Plain, you can schedule posts and gain access to a great library of stock photos, making content creation smoother. Don’t forget about your Facebook audience. Automating content sharing from Instagram to Facebook can keep your loyal fans engaged without extra effort on your part. Lemon8 is gaining traction, and incorporating this platform into your social media strategy can be beneficial for sharing content and connecting with like-minded individuals. While you’re becoming acquainted with TikTok, consider sharing snippets of your Lemon8 posts or even behind-the-scenes looks at your jewelry-making process. Finally, let Threads serve as your creative outlet for thoughts and ideas related to your business, while Canva can assist in designing visually appealing content for all platforms. Remember, maintaining a strategic approach by focusing on about two or three types of posts across your social media can help lighten your load and boost overall engagement. As you plan for next year, evaluate if tools like RelayThat or Social Bee can replace your current resources for added efficiency.
