Nightstand Tour

I feel like recently I have been so caught up in life social media hasn’t been a top priority. I don’t think I have posted in 2 weeks 🥲 this was such an easy post to get me back into posting again.

Anyway….my nightstand 💁🏼‍♀️

💦 I always keep water next to my bed and grab it in the mornings with me when I wake up….just helps it become a habit to drink water in the mornings.

🔌 obviously most ppl have these…pretty self explanatory.

💊 magnesium complex pills I take every night. It has made such a difference in my sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. Pillow spray is lavender smells heavenly and just sets the mood for sleep at night!

📺 remotes again self explanatory…sometimes they are on my husbands side but today I am the lucky winner.

📚 ipad and a book. My favorite way to scroll pintrist and lemon8 is on my ipad. I try to keep a book next to my bed so i read rather than watch tv at night.

🧖‍♀️ my resuable brow lifting mask…just started using this I will post something about that in the future.

💻 i keep my laptop on the bottom im not really a big user of it in bed but its just easy to store here.

I tey to keep things next to me that will encourage healthy habits and just make life a little easier 🫶🏻

When I first started thinking about what goes on my nightstand, I realized it wasn't just about convenience, but about actively encouraging healthy habits. Many people think of melatonin when they consider sleep supplements, and it’s certainly a popular choice. However, I personally found that a magnesium complex works wonders for me. After trying a few different things, I discovered that taking these pills every night has made a significant difference in how deeply I sleep and how refreshed I feel waking up. Magnesium plays a role in relaxing muscles and calming the nervous system, which is exactly what I need to wind down. While melatonin is great for regulating your sleep cycle, especially with jet lag, magnesium has been my personal go-to for consistent, quality sleep. It’s always best to chat with a doctor to see what's right for you, but for me, that little bottle of magnesium complex is a nightly ritual I wouldn't skip. Beyond the supplements, creating a serene environment is key. My lavender pillow spray isn't just about a nice smell; it truly helps set a calming mood, signaling to my brain that it's time to relax. That heavenly scent is a small but mighty step in my bedtime routine. And of course, hydration! Keeping that green water bottle right by my bed means I always have water within reach. It’s a simple habit, but grabbing a drink first thing in the morning has made a huge difference in staying hydrated throughout the day. It’s also easily visible, reminding me to take sips during the night if I wake up. For digital detox, my sticker-covered tablet and a good old-fashioned book are my companions. While it’s tempting to scroll endlessly, I’ve committed to trying to read from a physical book instead of watching TV before bed. It helps quiet my mind without the harsh blue light. My tablet is mostly for Pinterest and Lemon8 during the day, not for late-night scrolling. And speaking of tech, my laptop in its yellow sleeve is usually tucked away on the bottom shelf, out of sight, out of mind for bedtime. Even the charging blocks are strategically placed for easy access without cluttering the surface. Lastly, I recently added a lifting brow mask to my bedside drawer. It's a small self-care item that feels luxurious and encourages a moment of pampering before sleep. These little details, from the practical TV remotes (when I'm lucky enough to have them on my side!) to the personal care items, all contribute to a space that promotes rest and readiness for the day ahead. It’s all about intentionally curating items that serve a purpose, whether it’s for sleep, hydration, or a moment of self-care. Your nightstand should be a little hub of healthy habits, tailored just for you!
