Today was my first day having a physical job!!

I finished 30 minutes ago and I’m so proud of myself. Growing up with Autism I truly never thought I was capable of working a register and remembering codes and making sure I listen out for my name constantly. I just didn’t think it was possible for me.

It went so incredibly well and in so glad I have such a patient manager. I truly am proud of myself for being able to push through my fear!! And you can too!

The impossible is always possible!!

Starting a new job can be both exciting and nerve-wracking, especially for individuals with unique challenges such as Autism. It's important to recognize that everyone has their own path to success. Remember, your first job is just the beginning of your professional journey, and persistence is essential. The retail world is filled with opportunities for growth and skill enhancement, making it a rewarding field for anyone, including those with Autism. Embrace your journey, celebrate small victories, and inspire others with your story.
