For years I was relaxed & damaged my hair by coloring , over manipulating and a lot of heat ! My hair became very thin and severely dry . It stopped growing and it wasn’t healthy .
I got an impulsive thought and grabbed scissors and decided to start over , mind you I had no plan . Just a vision and some hope lol!
All that to say , there were a lot of trial and error , trying to learn my hair texture , my hair porosity and mainly how to keep my hair hydrated .
It was a slow process, but it was my journey and it taught me patience , self love and to embrace my hair in its natural state .
I Devolved a hair routine , removed all bad habits and started using natural Ayurvedic herbs . Along with formulating my own hair growth oil , hair gel and hair butter ..also Implementing deep conditioning weekly , steaming , low manipulation styles , and oiling w scalp massages .
I went from teeny weeny Afro to waist length hair in 6 years . No supplements , just tlc !!
