My Journal 📔🤍

So I know Apple has a thing where if you are dead, someone can access your phone! For me that would be my sister and if she has access to my phone, she will even have access to my diary in case she ever needed to find something out…. yes! I write every little deep dark secret in here so I would expect her to skip those details and/or freaky thoughts and encounters! But it will also be stated in my WILL that any of my journals, documents, and phone will be given to my sister!

I feel like everybody should also address that as well for their personal items when it comes to writing down your inner thoughts! I may end up making a glossary in the end to show what dates I was going through it, freaky encounters, details and such!

By writing down our thoughts and experiences, we often uncover patterns and insights that promote emotional health. For many, a diary becomes a sacred space where deep secrets and vulnerable emotions are safely explored. It's crucial to consider how these personal materials are handled after our passing. Many individuals opt to designate a trusted person, like a family member or close friend, who can access such sensitive information if necessary. It's advisable to add a clause in your will specifying who has the authority to access your journals and other personal documents. You can also enhance the usability of your journal by creating a glossary or indexing your entries. Including dates and keywords can assist loved ones in navigating your inner thoughts without delving into private details. This practice can also help in reflecting on your past experiences and understanding the context of your emotions. Moreover, sharing your journaling practices can inspire others to engage in similar self-exploratory activities, fostering a community of introspective writers. Journals can serve as legacies of our life's journey, imparting wisdom and experiences to future generations. So, as you document your thoughts and life events, consider both the importance of what you write and who might one day read it.
