💭 My Thoughts: : *sigh* I bought this book in 2021 and thought I would have be done… NO! Life happened and it stopped me from reading, but my best friend brought me back and I recommended us to read this book together! She finished before me, since I am also an English major so other work has to get done before I can read for myself! Anyway, I finally finished this book yesterday and let me tell you, it’s worth the read!!!! It really is, it keeps you on your toes and keep you wanting to figure what happened!
Pip, just being this young adult trying to finish high school and go into Columbia finds herself deep into her senior project which brings a lot of disappointments, sorrows, worries, hurt, forgiveness, peace, and mystery! It is a little cliché especially if you are into true crime, but it doesn’t take away from the story itself! It really keeps you wondering and what Holly Jackson does is give you so much insight from Pip through her journal entries, messages with people, and letters! I love when you can actually see the physicality of it all!
I’m going to read Book 2 soon, but now I have to start my November book read which is Darling Venom so look out for that 🫶🏾
