✨ Apple Intelligence Again ✨
🚨*** This is BETA. It is not fully released, nor are all of the features available! Download at your own risk! ***🚨
- This is NOT available on all devices.
- I do also have this on my iPad Pro M4, I have not checked my Air 5 so again: I am not sure of the device list.
- Once you download the update, you will go into the Settings to the Apple Intelligence menu and join the waitlist to get started.
First of all, OMG! I absolutely LOVE Siri's new Ul. The rainbow is everything, especially against a dark background. Unfortunately, Genmoji has not been introduced in this update. 😢
We do, however, have call recording now available! I tested with my friend, and Siri announced to us both that the call was being recorded. I will not state her reaction when she heard her. 😂 But it does work and it's pretty neat if you ask me. I have a terrible memory, and sometimes when I'm out or moving around, I'll schedule an appointment and forget the second I hang up, so this will be a top-used feature for me.
Writing tools: I KNOW SOOOOOOO many people who could use this, especially the proofread option. It works very well as you see on the text and Safari screen.
The intelligent breakthrough and silence work pretty well so far for me, but personally, I don't want any notifications at certain times, so it's a great feature, iust not for me.
There are also message suggestions. Very useful for me. Not sure where all this pops up, though.

Wow, diving deeper into the Apple Intelligence Beta has really opened my eyes to how much potential this update holds! Since many of you are curious about what exactly Apple Intelligence is and how to even get started, I wanted to share a more detailed look at my experience. First off, it’s important to remember this is still a BETA. As you might see on screens, it often appears as iOS 18.1 Beta. From what I’ve gathered, device compatibility is key – it's primarily available on the iPhone 15 Pro/Max and certain M-series iPads. To even begin, you’ll head into your Settings app, look for the Apple Intelligence & Siri BETA menu, and then, as shown in some of the beta screens, you'll likely need to Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist. It’s a bit of a process, but definitely worth it if you’re eager to try the new features. The new Siri interface is honestly such a refreshing change. The Siri UI with a vibrant rainbow background isn't just pretty; it feels more integrated and responsive. It pops up subtly at the bottom, making interactions feel smoother and less intrusive than before. It feels like a genuine upgrade, making Siri a more pleasant assistant to use daily. Now, let's talk about the features that are really making a difference for me. The call recording feature is a game-changer for someone like myself who often forgets details. I was a bit surprised when Siri announced "This Call Will Be Recorded" to both parties – definitely a privacy-first approach, which I appreciate. But for keeping track of important calls, appointments, or even just brainstorming with friends, it’s incredibly useful. No more scrambling for a pen and paper mid-conversation! The writing tools are another highlight. My original post touched on proofreading, but there's so much more! In messages, I’ve been experimenting with the Proofreading and Rewriting options. You can choose different tones like Friendly, Professional, or Concise, which is amazing for quickly crafting the perfect response. For school or work, the Key Points feature in writing tools helps summarize long texts. And in Safari, these tools extend even further! I’ve seen options to Summary web articles, extract Key Points, or even convert information into a List or Table format. This is brilliant for research or just getting the gist of a long webpage without having to read every single word. Even features I initially thought weren't for me, like Intelligent Breakthrough & Silencing within the Focus settings, are proving to be powerful. While I personally like to manage my notifications manually, this feature uses AI to intelligently determine which notifications are truly urgent and allows them to breakthrough your focus mode, while silencing less important ones. It’s perfect for those who need a smarter way to manage their digital interruptions. And those New Message Suggestions that pop up above the keyboard? They're surprisingly helpful for quick replies, saving you a few precious seconds throughout the day. Exploring the Apple Intelligence & Siri settings on my iPhone has been a journey, and I’m excited to see how these beta features evolve. It feels like Apple is genuinely pushing the boundaries of what our devices can do, making them truly intelligent companions.

I’m using the iOS 18 beta and it’s so fun. I’m still getting used to some things but the changes are exciting
