iPad Necessities 🤩

I have:

iPad Air 5 (Best Buy)

iPad mini (contest prize)

iPad Pro (Apple)

iPad 10th Gen (contest prize)

No I don’t use all 4 of them. Just the Pro and Mini and the Air 5 as a monitor since I just recently upgraded to the Pro.

- iPad Pro is used for games, drawings, journaling, etc

- iPad Mini is used for mainly reading and journaling, and a few games as well. I doodle on here, but no heavy drawing.

- Logitech Keyboard & Mouse - Got these together from Amazon a few years ago. I use these whenever I need to type a lot on my iPad, if I’m not using my MacBook.

- Apple Pencil and Pencil Pro - got from Apple. The pencil pro is for the iPad Pro. The 2nd gen pencil is for the Air 5 and Mini. I’ve not used the 10th get, so I’m not sure what pencil is compatible with it.

- Cases - all of my cases are from Amazon. I’ve lost and sold a decent amount of them, but I still have a lot..

- Chargers - The purple charger is from SHEIN. I got it on sale for $4; it came with 2 bricks, and a type-c cable and a lightning cable.

- Cleaner - I THINK I got this from SHEIN. I love it. I don’t have a screen cleaner, I just use water and it does the trick for me. My screens are never really dirty, so that’s why I use water, but I may look into a glass cleaning solution.

- AirPods - Mainly for music and podcasts for when I am focused or don’t want to hear anything, I have the kindle app so I will listen to some books here and there.

- Controller - This is for if I’m playing certain games like Genshin Impact.

- Protectors - all from Amazon. I usually use magnetic cases so I get front and back protectors.

... Read moreBuilding on my current collection of iPad essentials, there's always more to explore to truly maximize your device's potential! While my Apple Pencils (Pro and 2nd Gen) are invaluable for drawing, journaling, and precise navigation, many of you might be curious about other stylus options, especially if you're looking for different price points or specific features. The Logitech Crayon, for instance, is a fantastic alternative, often praised for its durability and ease of use, particularly in educational settings. It offers a great drawing and writing experience, though it might lack some of the pressure sensitivity nuances of the Apple Pencil Pro. Knowing your primary use—whether it's detailed art or everyday note-taking—can guide your stylus choice. Another game-changer for many iPad users, especially those who draw or take extensive notes, is a *paper-feel screen protector*. While I usually opt for standard magnetic cases for protection, the 'paperlike' experience is something truly special. Products like Paperlike (yes, that's the brand!) or similar textured screen protectors mimic the friction and feel of writing on actual paper. This significantly reduces glare and offers a more controlled, satisfying experience compared to writing on a slick glass screen. If you find your Apple Pencil sliding too much or want to improve your handwriting on the iPad, this is an essential tool to consider for a more natural feel. Beyond the physical iPad accessories like keyboards, mice, and controllers, let's not forget the power of *software as essential tools*. My iPads are platforms for creativity and productivity, and the right apps make all the difference. For journaling, I love apps that allow both typing and handwritten entries, blending the best of both worlds. For drawing, while the native Notes app is great for quick doodles, dedicated apps like Procreate or Goodnotes elevate the artistic experience. Even for reading, the Kindle app is a staple, but exploring others might enhance your digital library experience. Think of these apps as invisible essential tools that unlock your iPad's full capabilities. When it comes to general iPad accessories, choosing the right ones can transform your workflow. For cases, consider if you need robust protection, a built-in keyboard, or just a slim cover. My current choices blend aesthetics with functionality, ensuring my iPads are safe yet ready for action. And chargers? Having a reliable, fast charger and portable power bank (beyond the basic ones) can be a lifesaver, especially if you're always on the go. The aim is to create a seamless setup where your *wireless keyboard and mouse*, *AirPods*, and even your game controller integrate effortlessly into your daily routine. Ultimately, tailoring your iPad essentials to your lifestyle is key. Whether you're a student, an artist, a gamer, or a professional, a thoughtfully curated set of iPad accessories can elevate your experience from good to absolutely indispensable. Experiment with different options, read reviews, and see what truly enhances your productivity and creativity in 2023 and beyond!
