So, DMs are officially back on Lemon8, and I know many of us have mixed feelings! When I first saw the notification, my mind immediately went back to those awkward, unsolicited messages. If you're like me and want to avoid those awkward messages, you need to dive into your settings. You’ll find a 'Direct messages' section where you can manage 'Who can send you messages.' I personally made sure to set 'Others' and 'Potential connections' to 'Don't receive.' This means I won't get message requests from random people. It’s such a relief to know I can curate my inbox and ensure my experience stays positive and focused on genuine connections. You can also explore options like 'Deliver messages as' to further refine your privacy. It's all about making Lemon8 work for you and keeping it a supportive, inspiring space!
