Mid-June iPhone Refresh ✨📱
🩷 Mid-June iPhone Reset 🍓📱
Here’s how I gave my iPhone a cute refresh using iOS 26’s customization tools, Widgy, iScreen, and some Pinterest magic ✨
🧸 This setup is super beginner-friendly if you’re new to customizing your phone! Let’s go step-by-step 💡
📦 What I Used:
iOS 26 (Beta) for tinting default icons 🎨
Widgy – for my music widget 🎶
iScreen – for the other widgets
Pinterest – for the cute widget images 💐
🧁 Step-by-Step Setup:
1️⃣ Add & Organize Widgets + Icons
I started by laying out all my widgets and app icons exactly where I wanted them.📍
- I KNOW you know how to do the icon organizing by now 😉
2️⃣ Customize the Widgets
Using Widgy, I made a minimal but aesthetic music widget with album art, calendar, weather and battery information.
Then in iScreen, I added 2 photo widgets 🤍
- Open iScreen > Photo > Small, Medium, or Large photo widget
3️⃣ Tint the Icons
With iOS 26, you can now tint your default icons (no third-party app needed!).
I chose a soft purple tone to match my overall look 🎀
- put iPhone in jiggle mode > Edit > Customize > Tinted
💡 Tips:
🌷 Use Pinterest boards to save widget images by theme (like “cozy,” “purple,” “summer”)
🪄 Hold an app icon until it jiggles > drag and organize by mood or function
🎨 Keep your background neutral to let the widgets + tint shine
🫶🏽 Final Look:
I LOVE IT 💜
Okay, so you've seen how I gave my iPhone a fresh new vibe with iOS 26 Beta's amazing customization tools! But let's dive even deeper into what makes this update, and these apps, such a game-changer for personalizing your device. If you're like me, constantly looking for ways to make your tech truly *yours*, you're in the right place. First off, the native tinting feature in iOS 26.5 (or the latest beta you're running!) is a revelation. No more complex workarounds just to get a consistent color scheme for your default apps! It's a small but mighty change that elevates the entire aesthetic of your homescreen. I found that choosing a soft, muted tone allows my custom widgets to truly pop without clashing. Have you tried experimenting with different tints yet? It's surprisingly fun and makes a huge difference in achieving a cohesive look for your iPhone. Now, let's talk about Widgy and iScreen. While I mentioned using them for specific widgets, their capabilities go far beyond just displaying photos or music. For Widgy, I've discovered a whole community sharing incredible, complex widget designs. You can import these or get inspired to build your own from scratch. Imagine a widget that not only shows your calendar but also your daily step count, battery levels, and even a personalized quote – all in one aesthetic package! The key is exploring the various data sources and design elements available. Don't be afraid to play around; that's how you unlock truly unique setups for your homescreen. iScreen, on the other hand, is fantastic for quick, visually appealing photo widgets. But here's a pro tip: instead of just static photos, try using a small collection of related images. For instance, a series of serene landscape shots that subtly change throughout the day, or motivational quotes that rotate. This adds a dynamic element to your aesthetic without needing constant manual updates. It's all about making your iPhone feel alive and inspiring every time you unlock it. And Pinterest? Oh, Pinterest is my secret weapon! Beyond just searching for 'aesthetic widgets,' try getting more specific. Think 'cottagecore iPhone theme,' 'dark academia iOS setup,' or 'minimalist tech aesthetic.' Creating dedicated boards for different themes helps you curate a cohesive look. I also love using Pinterest to find high-quality background images and subtle icon alternatives that align perfectly with my chosen tint and widget designs. Remember, consistency is key to a polished look. Finally, don't forget the power of the App Library. While we focus on the homescreen, a well-organized App Library complements your custom look by keeping clutter away and ensuring easy access to less-used apps. With iOS 26.5, navigating your apps is even smoother, ensuring your beautiful homescreen remains a serene space. Experiment with different layouts, mix and match widget sizes, and most importantly, have fun making your iPhone truly reflect your personality. It's amazing what a little customization can do for your daily tech experience, turning a functional device into a personal statement!
