Change Lockscreen Shortcuts Tutorial
Dear, SweeTees 💜🫶🏽
If your lock screen still has the default flashlight and camera… we need to talk 😭
With iOS 18+, you can fully customize your bottom lock screen controls—and it’s one of my favorite little upgrades for making your phone feel actually yours.
In this video, I’m showing you how to:
• Remove the default flashlight & camera
• Add new system controls or app shortcuts
• Use custom icons for a more aesthetic setup
How to change your lock screen controls:
1. Long-press your lock screen
2. Tap Customize
3. Tap the – (minus) to remove controls
4. Tap the + (plus) to add new ones
5. Choose from system options or custom app icons
You can keep it simple with built-in controls or take it a step further with apps like iScreen or Color Widgets for that soft, aesthetic look ✨
💜 Mini Must-Knows
• You can add shortcuts like Notes, Voice Memos, or even apps you use daily
• Custom icons make your lock screen feel more cohesive with your theme
• Keep at least one “quick access” tool (like camera or flashlight) for convenience
This is such a small change, but it makes your phone feel so much more you
Save this for your next phone reset and follow for more tech + aesthetic tips 💜

Tee 💜🫶🏽
