April Monthly Refresh iPad Pro

Dear, SweeTees 💜

April called for a soft reset… so I refreshed my iPad Pro with a purple Easter theme and I’m honestly obsessed 🐰✨

I used custom icons by illie millie + Color Widgets to pull everything together and give my home screen that clean, cohesive look.

And yes… I kept the same case 😭 she’s a little… tired… but I’m emotionally attached. Don’t judge me 💜 (new one is on the way, I promise)

What’s shown:

• Full home screen reset (icons + widgets)

• Purple Easter aesthetic (soft, minimal, cohesive)

• App organization + layout refresh

• Slightly questionable case decision 😂

💜 Mini Must-Knows:

• Stick to 1–2 colors max → makes your setup feel instantly cleaner

• Use widgets for balance (not just decoration)

• Rename apps for a softer aesthetic look

This made my iPad feel brand new again without buying anything… and we love that 💜

Save this for your next reset + follow for more soft tech moments.

-Sincerely,

Tee 💜🫶🏽

... Read moreI recently decided to give my iPad Pro a fresh look for April, inspired by the idea of a monthly reset to bring new energy to my daily tech use. Choosing a purple Easter theme helped create a calming, cohesive vibe that felt both seasonal and timeless. What I found most satisfying was how simple design choices—like limiting myself to one or two main colors—dramatically cleaned up the overall appearance. It’s amazing how much a consistent color palette can unify diverse apps and widgets. Using custom icons from illie millie was a game changer. Their soft, pastel style perfectly matched my purple theme and gave every app a refreshed identity. I paired those with Color Widgets, not just for decoration but to add practical balance to the screen. For example, including a calendar and weather widget helped me glance at important info quickly while maintaining the clean aesthetic. An unexpected benefit was reorganizing my apps and renaming them with gentle, softer font styles and labels. This made the home screen feel more personalized and intentional. Even though I’m still using my older iPad case—something I’m emotionally attached to—the overall setup makes the device feel brand new and more enjoyable to use daily. If you’re thinking about a tech refresh without spending money, I highly recommend focusing on color harmony, custom icons, and purposeful widget placement. Try renaming apps to reduce visual clutter and convey the mood you want. These small tweaks can make your iPad feel like a fresh start for spring, just like mine did. Plus, the little inspirational quotes I include remind me like the one on my screen—"May the flowers remind us why the rain was so necessary"—that every reset is part of growth and renewal.
