Where do toner pads go in your routine? 💜
Dear, SweeTees 💜
I used to be confused about where toner pads actually fit into a routine… like before toner? after? both?? 😭
So here’s how I’ve been using mine and what’s been working for my skin ✨
What’s shown:
• Avocado Cleanser
• LHA + AHA Toner Pads
• Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Toner
• Niacinamide Dew Drops
• Pink Juice Moisturizer
• SPF (AM routine)
Routine:
Cleanser → toner pads → toner → serum → moisturizer (+ SPF in AM)
💜 Mini Must-Knows:
• Toner pads go right after cleansing
• Use exfoliating pads 1–2x a week
• Always follow with hydration
• Can be used for am + pm
• Sunscreen only required in am.
This helped my skin feel smoother and made my routine make way more sense.
Save this if you’ve been confused too 💜
-Sincerely,
Tee 💜🫶🏽

Integrating toner pads into your skincare regimen can sometimes feel confusing, especially when deciding whether to use them before or after your regular toner. Based on my experience, I found that using toner pads right after cleansing delivers the best results. These pads typically contain exfoliating ingredients like LHA and AHA, which help remove dead skin cells gently and prepare your skin for better absorption of subsequent products. Using exfoliating pads 1 to 2 times per week is usually sufficient to keep your skin smooth without over-exfoliating. After applying toner pads, it’s essential to follow up with hydrating products like serums and moisturizers to replenish moisture and maintain a healthy skin barrier. This sequence boosts your skin’s glow and texture noticeably. For instance, in my routine, I start with a gentle avocado-based cleanser to remove impurities. Then, I swipe the LHA + AHA toner pads across my face to exfoliate. Next, I apply a hydrating toner like the Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Toner, which soothes and preps my skin further. After that, a targeted serum containing niacinamide helps brighten and improve skin texture, followed by a lightweight moisturizer to seal in hydration. If you’re following your morning routine, don’t skip SPF after moisturizing. Sunscreen acts as the final protective layer, safeguarding your skin from UV damage. Remember, consistency is key. I noticed my skin feels softer and more radiant when I stick to this order. Also, using toner pads in both your AM and PM routine is possible but always monitor how your skin responds and adjust frequency accordingly. I encourage you to try this method and observe the improvements. Pairing exfoliating toner pads with hydration and sun protection made my routine simpler and my skin noticeably healthier. It’s a small adjustment but one that can truly transform your skincare results. Save and share if you’ve been wondering about where these pads belong in your regimen—you’re not alone!
