Which AirPods Do You Own?
Dear, SweeTees 💜🎧
Did I need the AirPods Pro 3?
Absolutely not. 😭
Did I convince myself anyway?
…also yes.
I’ve genuinely loved my AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation. They weren’t perfect (my right AirPod occasionally refused to charge, calls would randomly sound robotic, and every now and then I’d have to reconnect them), but overall they’ve been amazing. The truth is… I’ve kinda wanted the Pro 3s since they launched.
Could I have waited until whatever Apple announces this September? Probably.
Did I? Not even a little. 😂
💜 Mini Must-Knows

• Active Noise Cancellation and Adaptive Audio are designed to adjust based on your environment.
• This is just my first impression—I’ll be sharing a full comparison with my AirPods 4 and a long-term review after using them.
What’s the first accessory you buy for new tech?

Upgrading to new tech like the AirPods Pro 3 often comes with a mix of excitement and hesitation. From my experience, the shift from AirPods 4 to Pro 3 feels more like a refinement than a complete overhaul. The inclusion of interchangeable silicone ear tips in the Pro 3 really enhances comfort and fit, especially during long listening sessions or workouts—something I found lacking in previous versions. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on both models is impressive, but the Pro 3 goes a step further with Adaptive Audio, which intelligently adjusts sound profiles based on your surroundings. This feature is particularly useful in busy environments or during travel, where constant noise changes can otherwise be distracting. However, it's important to consider your usage habits. I found that although my AirPods 4 had minor issues like occasional charging glitches and call quality hiccups, their performance was adequate for daily activities. If you’re someone who prioritizes a more tailored fit and a nuanced listening experience, the upgrade might be worthwhile. But if these aren’t deal-breakers, waiting for upcoming Apple announcements or updates could be sensible. As a first tech accessory purchase for new gadgets, I usually opt for protective or charging enhancements, like a carrying case or wireless charging pad, that complement the device's longevity and usability. It’s a personal touch that adds convenience and value over time. Overall, my impression of the AirPods Pro 3 is positive—I’m eager to dive deeper into a full comparison and long-term review soon. For anyone considering this upgrade, weigh the tangible benefits against cost and personal needs carefully before making a decision.
