Shows I’m watching right now!
I usually have a pretty hard time sitting down and watching tv! So it’s exciting for me that I’m watching four at once right now…
💍 Marry My Husband:
Now, I may not watch shows often, but my ass gobbles up webtoons like there’s no tomorrow. I read and (generally) enjoyed Marry My Husband and decided I had to see what the k-drama would do. Although it’s still airing it has already taken many liberties with the story and I see them very much as separate entities. But I do love it! It’s fun and drama filled and even though I know (generally) how it’s going to end, I’m excited to see Sumin get her karma.
🔫 TRIGUN STAMPEDE:
This is one that I’ve been meaning to watch since it came out and just got around to it. Admittedly, I have not watched the original show, but what can I say- the animation here is gorgeous and it caught my attention first. What the show lacks in dialogue capabilities it makes up for in gorgeous visuals- the bright colors, fun animation, and great character design all pull together to make a really appealing show. And that’s not even mentioning the stunning music. It is pure talent to make a show that mostly takes place in a desert look this good! I can tell a lot of love went into it.
🗡️ Inuyasha:
I looooved Inuyasha when I was younger and it was well overdue for a rewatch. When I was in college I found out one of my friends also liked the show when she was younger- she lives a state away now so to keep in touch we do some Inuyasha binging on the weekends. It’s a great activity and I’m glad we get to share our love of the show together. If there’s one thing I will always sing the praises for, it’s the music. The music in this show is incredible and really gets your emotions going. A certified classic.
🔥 Hazbin Hotel:
Now this is one I’ve been waiting for. Of course as a certified weird kid I had the Vivzipop Die Young AMV on repeat all hours of the day so she can’t help but get some nostalgia points from me. I loved the pilot when it came out and was hyped to see it get picked up by a studio and moved to Amazon prime. So far I’m having a lot of fun with it. It’s a good turn your brain off and have a fun time show- and with its broadway star studded cast it has some really great music pieces!
