TWILIGHT COLLECTION REVIEW
Okay, no time to lose. I love Twilight, let’s jump right in!
👄
These lip oils are GORGEOUS. I love them, they stay nice and wet looking and feel great. Although I don’t see myself using the blue often, the red and black will definitely get high traffic

Alright, one slide in and we’ve reached the problem child. Coven and Vampire are spectacular, smooth application and highly pigmented. Forever, however, is a bit… hmm. Clearly my Forever eyeliner came defective as it does not look like the promo at all. I looked into it and found that this happened to others as well. Upon contacting Colourpop they gave me a fair amount of grief, first only offering me a 10$ coupon. I refused it and said they needed to either exchange when they were back in stock or refund since the product was sold out and a coupon didn’t help. They sent me ANOTHER coupon and I snapped back at them again, after which I finally got my refund. Forever unfortunately does not last forever, it is watery and see through and washes off easily under light water.

These highlighters are gorg as always. Super creamy and soft and they apply like a dream. Colourpop is my go-to brand when it comes to highlighters!
✨
The second they announced this collab I KNEW they had to have glitter body spray and thank god they did. This glitter oil is a little girls dream. My camera could simply not do it justice. The glitter is subtle but noticeable, and the way the formula shines on your skin gives a really pretty morning dew look. I will be rocking the club with my Edward skin, that is for certain
🧛♀️
Alright, the part everyone has been waiting for- eyeshadow palette. This palette is pretty and pretty much exactly what I expected. Some people were unhappy that it didn’t have red, but blue is THE Twilight iconic color. Absolutely nothing reminds me of Twilight more than the blue of the iconic filter over the first movie. And if there is one thing this collection did right, it is GLITTER. These glitter shades are jam packed and look beautiful. They’re creamy and soft and easy to apply. The shimmers and matte’s are just and great. I’m a huge fan of Colourpop’s formula and I think these shades are great. I can’t wait to use them to create a look.
⭐️
Overall I am more than happy with this collection. I think it has a great cohesive color story and the products chosen were great. I love all the fun names and their connection to the movie and it does feel like there was a lot of love put in here. It is so, so unfortunate that they gave me so much trouble with the defective liner because if they hadn’t I would 100% give them a perfect score. However, due to the nature of spending *100 dollars* on a collection, I’d expect everything to come perfectly and even more so I would expect customer service to be properly prepared to take care of issues. Unfortunately that didn’t happen here, so I’ll have to give a 4/5 stars
What do you think? Are you waiting with bated breath for the collection to come back in stock? Or maybe you snagged it the first time around? Let me know your thoughts!

So, you're eyeing the Colourpop Twilight Collection, or maybe you've already snagged it and are looking for ways to make the most of your Forks-inspired haul! As a fellow fan and makeup enthusiast, I'm here to dive a little deeper into how I've been incorporating these pieces into my routine and some tips for getting that perfect mystical glow. First off, let's talk about the star of the show for many: the Eyeshadow Palette. While the original review touched on the beautiful blue, I've found so much versatility in this palette beyond just that iconic shade. For a classic Bella-inspired, soft yet enchanting look, I love blending 'Say it out loud' and 'Impossibly Fast' across my lid, then adding a touch of 'Moonlit' or 'Ice Cold' to the inner corner for that ethereal spark. For a more dramatic, vampire-esque vibe, I go for the deeper shades like 'Edward' or 'The Cullens' in the outer V and crease, then pack on one of those amazing glitters – 'Immortal' or 'Irresistible' – on the center of the lid. The glitters are truly dense and apply like a dream, giving that otherworldly shimmer without much fallout. Don't forget 'Prom Night' for a touch of romantic drama! Next, the Lip Oils are surprisingly versatile. I adore 'Team Edward' for a deep, mysterious tint, perfect for a night out. 'Bells' gives a lovely, subtle wash of color that's fantastic for everyday wear, making my lips feel hydrated and plump. And even if 'Team Jacob' isn't my everyday shade, it's fun for themed looks when I want a pop of vibrant color. I find these work great on their own for a glossy finish, or layered over a matte lipstick to add comfort and shine. They truly give that 'wet look' without being overly sticky, which is a huge win in my book. And who could forget the Highlighters? 'Vampire Skin' and 'Meadow' are simply divine. For that true Cullen sparkle, I lightly dust 'Vampire Skin' on my cheekbones, brow bone, and cupid's bow. It's a gorgeous, luminous sheen that catches the light beautifully. For a more natural, dewy look akin to the misty Forks mornings, 'Meadow' provides a softer, golden glow. To amplify the effect for a full-body sparkle, especially if you're heading out, I highly recommend pairing these with the 'Like Diamonds' Glitter Oil. A little goes a long way, and it truly makes you feel like you just stepped out of the pages of a fantasy novel. Now, regarding the infamous 'Forever' Eyeliner – I understand the frustration! If you're struggling with it, I've had some luck applying a clear eye primer beforehand to give it something to grip onto, and then immediately setting it with a black eyeshadow. It's not ideal, but it can help improve its longevity and pigmentation if you're determined to make it work. However, there are many amazing liners out there, including Colourpop's other formulas like 'Coven' or 'Vampire' which were much better, so don't be afraid to swap it out if it's truly a dud. Customer service can be tricky, but persistence often pays off, as the original review showed. Overall, this collection is a love letter to Twilight fans. The product names like 'Unconditionally,' 'Lion & Lamb,' 'Seventeen,' and 'Irrevocably' bring back so many memories. Whether you're a die-hard fan or just looking for some gorgeous new makeup, there's something to appreciate here. Don't hesitate to experiment with the shades to create your own unique looks!
