Day Six Diary
Day Six and I need someone to calm my brain down lol
I’m the type of person that likes to have a million things happening at once. As pictured above: my video game, a youtube video, some watermelon, and the phone I took the picture from that I was using to shop etsy lol
I think for a lot of people all this would be super overwhelming but for me it’s all a necessary part of the process. I can put my game on auto and the grinding needs to be done, but I don’t just want to watch/listen to my game play out so I put on a video, but then I want a little treat so I get some food, and then I need something to do with my hands and I’ve been wanting a new poster so I grab my phone to shop.
I know that this is like, the furthest from normal, but it still helps me feel really grounded and productive lol. I love playing video games but the grinding aspect gets really tedious for me quickly, so stuff like this happens a lot where I just overload like fifty other things on top of my game. I also enjoy calling people and chatting with them while I ‘work’ in a kind of body-doubling sense
Anyways, let me know if this amount of stuff going on seems great or if it seems like a nightmare for you. Also, boba I made on the second slide?? I forgot I put that there

Many individuals find solace in multitasking as a way to manage their daily activities efficiently. For those with ADHD, like myself, it often feels like a balancing act to find focus amidst the chaos. The use of different media, such as games and videos, not only keeps the mind engaged but also provides a sense of rhythm throughout daily tasks. The concept of body-doubling can be particularly beneficial for ADHD-ers; it involves engaging with another person while completing work or activities. This sense of social presence can enhance focus and motivation, turning what might be a mundane task into a shared experience. Multitasking can sometimes elicit mixed reactions; while some thrive in a dynamic environment, others may feel overwhelmed. In gaming, the repetitive grinding aspect can lead to significant tedium. However, interspersing a favorite video or having snacks at hand can rejuvenate the experience, transforming gaming from a solitary task to an enjoyable multitasking experience. This blend of activities can help to maintain productivity and keep the mind grounded, even on the busiest days. Whether you're crafting new ideas or just unwinding, it's vital to discover what methods of engagement suit you best – the rhythm of life is what you make it!
