Nintendo Alarm Clock?
I’m in NYC this weekend so I got to take a peek in the nintendo store and see the Alarmo for myself.
If you haven’t heard already; Nintendo has released their very own alarm clock that tracks the users movements and lulls them out of sleep with their chosen (nintendo) video game sound track and noises.
Definitely enough tech going on (as well as being sizable enough) to justify the 100 dollar price point— but I’m not sure I’m into it. People have pointed out that often times the noise you set as your alarm becomes a source of panic as your body is soon hardwired to want to turn it off as soon as possible; I wonder if the slow nature of the alarm clock combats this at all?
Users have also been left annoyed as the clock doesn’t really work for couples and only tracks one person’s movements. Personally wouldn’t be a problem for me lol, but for 100 dollars I can see being annoyed.
