The pacing was just a tad bit slow the first couple chapters but it smoothed out and went steady for the rest of the book.
The MCs Finch and Selena, from bad meeting to being the cutest freaking couple! The dynamic between the two *chef’s kiss*. Also how we get a decent amount of other characters. Kyra is totally Nancy from the craft.
The part where a character realizes that what their sexuality it, I thought how that was handled was well done. How it was talked out, accepting.
The lore was exceptionally done, how it was sprinkled in through the story. The tension in different areas where the characters feel watched, you as the reader feel it too.
Overall, this was a great read, perfect for pride month 🏳️🌈
