This is a perfect spooky Halloween tale for the fall season. We follow the main characters, Ruth and her best friends Sarah and Ben. Getting ready for Halloween and learning the local legend of the Wax Witch. The Wax Witch said to live in the woods and steal children. On the days leading up to Halloween, children are going missing, but nobody even remembers they existed except Ruth.
This is fun for teens and adults. The horror is spaced out, building the intensity of the story. The characters do kinda give the vibes of ‘Power of Friendship’.
