It’s my Last week on Whole30!
So I’m at the end of my Whole30 journey and want to share my daily meals for accountability while I continue on my weight loss journey!
My whole30 journey was easy the first week and then difficult the 2nd and 3rd weeks. I was so exhausted and hungry and grumpy. I didn’t feel like eating anything that was permitted on the Whole30 plan and so I definitely under-ate. But I focused and got my calories back up!
Now I’m on the last week of Whole30 and need to make one final push!
Today, I ate well and enjoyed my meals. I did 20 minutes of yoga as my active rest day.
The bacon I have for breakfast is my favorite! It’s the brand “Never Any!” And is sugar free bacon. I think this tastes better (and cooks more uniform) than regular bacon.#weightlosshealthjourney #whole 30 #stillcountingcalories #weighlossdiaries
As I wrap up my Whole30 journey, I want to highlight the importance of balanced meals that fit within the program. A typical day on Whole30 emphasizes whole foods, including protein, healthy fats, and vegetables. For breakfast, I enjoyed sugar-free bacon, which is approved on the plan and adds a delicious spin to my morning routine. During lunch, I focused on keeping my meals satisfying while staying within the program guidelines. I made a point to pack in the nutrients, opting for lean proteins and colorful veggies. Snacking smartly is crucial, so I incorporated cucumbers for a low-calorie option. In the evening, my dinners featured hearty proteins like chicken and flavorful veggies, ensuring I hit my macros while enjoying every bite. It's essential to listen to your body—through the difficult weeks, I learned to adjust portion sizes and remain mindful of what fuels me. On top of this, adding physical activity like yoga helped me stay energized and focused. As I complete this last week, I’m excited to share tips and insights from my Whole30 experience, encouraging others to embark on similar journeys toward healthier living.
