I'm nonbinary and as of now don't describe myself as transgender. I really want to share stories through my page and posts from parents of trans kids on my page due to misconceptions about youth gender affirming healthcare. Don't know if I should make a Google surveys for this matter so it's easier to share stories? What do you guys think. Hate will be deleted and people will be blocked if they are just plain bigots. Edit: I need to make this clear. I'm only talking Social transitioning here. I support kids socially transitioning. I don't have much knowledge about anything further than that. I want parents to only listening to their child’s care team in the medical and mental health field for advice before even socially transition. I'm am not encouraging parents to let there kids transitioning. I'm only supporting them as parents because it isn't easy. Sorry for the long post I just wanted to make sure I stated only facts here. This post will be updated with more facts as I get more and more educated in this topic. #lgbtq #queer #transgender #transrightsarehumanrights

... Read moreThe topic of social transitioning among youth has gained significant attention in recent years, especially concerning the well-being of transgender and nonbinary children. Social transitioning refers to the process where a child may change their name, pronouns, clothing, or other gender expressions that align more closely with their gender identity, without undergoing any medical intervention. It is crucial for parents to understand that this process should be supported with the guidance of qualified professionals who know the nuances of each child's situation. Many parents seek advice from the medical and mental health care teams involved with their children. Engaging with such expertise helps mitigate misconceptions associated with youth transitioning and ensures that the child's emotional and psychological health is prioritized. As communities become more informed about gender diversity, fostering an open dialogue among parents can cultivate a supportive environment that acknowledges the experiences of transgender youth. Moreover, facilitating platforms for sharing stories, such as Google surveys, allows these narratives to shine a light on the diverse journeys families undertake. It can be beneficial for parents to connect with others who share similar experiences, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding. Ultimately, every child is unique, and the journey towards their authentic self should be approached with care, compassion, and respect.

I’m talking about socially transitioning mainly since it’s not permanent. This is up to the parents.

I think since you’re an adult, go for it, however, and I mean no hate or anything, honestly, I don’t think encouraging parents to let their kids transition or makes such huge decisions before adult hood might not be the best idea for any child or parents of children
