Living with Eczema

-a medical condition in which patches of skin become rough and inflamed , with blisters that cause itching and bleeding

My eczema is a result from years of using my asthma inhaler …. I didn’t even develop eczema until my 30s. Most of my patches are around my hairline and random places on my face 😩

I notice that it gets worse when I’m stressed out and when it’s close to my period.

The topical medicine I take does help a lot, I also get monthly facials, and I try to each healthy.

So on a scale of 1-10 I say my breakouts are about a 2-3. I’m def grateful for that.

... Read moreEczema is a chronic condition that can impact daily life significantly. Understanding its triggers, such as stress and hormonal changes, is crucial for better management. Many sufferers notice a flare-up during stressful times or hormonal fluctuations, especially around menstrual cycles. Effective treatments include topical medicines like Triamcinolone Acetonide, which can help reduce inflammation and itching. Regular skincare routines, such as using gentle cleansers and moisturizers, are essential. Monthly facials can also help improve skin health. Living a healthy lifestyle—incorporating a balanced diet and hydration—plays a vital role in overall wellbeing. Engaging with online communities can provide support, shared experiences, and tips from others dealing with similar situations. If you have your own eczema story, don’t hesitate to share it and join discussions within the eczema community. Your journey can inspire and help others facing the same challenges.
