What I Wore on the Windiest Day in NYC
I looked at the forecast yesterday and saw that it was going to be a ‘ little windy’ but didn’t know it was going to be THAT bad lol
BUT if I was going to go out in the wind… of course a windbreaker was a logical choice for me lol. I love the uniqueness of this jacket and how it comes with the mixed fabric! Next, I tried on so many black bottoms but none of them seemed to pull the look together. Right when I was thinking of changing up the whole look, I decided to try on my Jean Jorts and it just made sense for me ! These black boots are so comfortable, one of my favorite purchases EVER . Lastly , I am in my over accessorize era… I’m so happy we’re bringing bandanas back!
Yesterday’s forecast: cute outfit vs aggressive wind
The wind almost had the upper hand but I think the fit prevailed 😂
Anyone else get caught in that wind yesterday?

Experiencing NYC's wind advisories firsthand can truly test your outfit choices! When the forecast hinted at strong gusts, I immediately knew a windbreaker was essential—not just for style but for practicality. The mixed fabric of mine offers both breathability and protection, which is rare and incredibly handy in unpredictable weather. Jean jorts might seem like an unusual pick for a windy day, but pairing them with a sturdy windbreaker provided the perfect balance between casual style and movement ease. It’s a reminder that sometimes throwing on a comfortable, familiar piece like jean shorts can anchor your outfit, making it feel effortless and relatable. One item that truly changed my wind-day experience was my black boots. Comfortable enough to walk miles and sturdy enough to withstand gusts trying to topple me over, these boots have become a staple. Footwear matters tremendously when dealing with strong winds; a good grip and solid ankle support can make all the difference. On windy days, accessories often become a challenge—but embracing bandanas this season is a fun twist. Rather than fighting the wind on your hair, using a bandana adds flair while keeping things controlled. This trend gone retro is gaining momentum, and I’m all here for the over-accessorized look it brings! Overall, styling for the wind is a game of balancing protection and personality. Wearing layers that protect without adding bulk, choosing comfortable yet stylish footwear, and accessorizing with purpose can make facing the fiercest winds less daunting—and a chance to showcase your unique style. Omg, obsessed with the boots!❤️
