Advice on your "Goal Weight"
Here is why I want you to not compare yourself to what other peoples weight is:
• Someone's amount of muscle and body fat % can make the person look completely different. For example, if you are 120 lbs but have a high body fat %, you will look a lot bigger than someone who is 120 lbs with a low body fat percentage. This is because muscle is denser than fat. So focus on body fat loss rather than just weight alone.
• As women, our bodies require different amounts of energy in different parts of the month. We tend to swell up close to our menstrual cycle which can make the scale look decieving. Try to only weigh yourself twice a month at the same phases of your cycle to know the real deal.
• High sodium foods or creatine can cause water retention. Just a little fact that can help ease your mind a little if you don't get why the scale went up or isn't moving today. 🩷
Hope these helped!

When considering your goal weight, it's essential to understand that everyone's body is unique. Body composition, including muscle and fat ratios, significantly impacts how we look at a given weight. For example, two people who both weigh 120 lbs can appear drastically different based on their body fat percentage, as muscle is denser than fat. Rather than fixating solely on the number on the scale, prioritize body fat loss and overall health. Women's bodies experience natural changes in energy levels and water retention throughout their menstrual cycles, which can lead to scale fluctuations. To get a more accurate measurement of your weight, try weighing yourself consistently during the same phases of your cycle, ideally twice a month. It’s also important to consider dietary factors that can cause temporary weight gain, such as high sodium intake or supplements like creatine, which lead to water retention. Understanding these factors can help ease the concern when the scale doesn’t show progress. Engage with your body healthily, focusing on how you feel and the changes you make instead of solely the figure on the scale. Remember, your journey is yours alone, and comparison can often cloud personal progress.
