The Residue We Thought We Let Go Of
Since last Wednesday, there have been a lot of emotional ups and downs that I have been experiencing out of nowhere.
I generally begin feeling the moon phases through my body (somatically) a couple of days prior to their occurrence.
I chalk this up to the astrological placements in my chart. I have a double stellium; my first is in Virgo and my second in Libra.
This moon phase seems extra potent, though, because what I usually feel a couple of days prior to a full moon, I have been feeling earlier, last Wednesday to be exact.
It is my opinion that this Full Moon in Scorpio will be one that sheds what I see as the remnants of what many of us thought we had already released.
When I consider the feelings that I am witnessing within myself, based on fragments of my past that I thought had already concluded in my awareness, I recognize that while some things linger as a reminder of where we have traversed, others may peek out once more just to test our ability to truly understand their validity in our movement into the future.
So, are we willing to face those moments that pop up when we find ourselves confronted with them, even if only for a snippet of time?
Or are we finding ourselves faced with the subconscious testing the extent of its influence over our choices moving forward?
These are simply reflections to consider as we move through this Full Moon 🌝 on Friday, and how it may be meeting us where we are in alignment with the intentions we are carrying forward.

During my own experience with the recent Full Moon in Scorpio, I noticed that certain emotions and memories I believed were settled resurfaced unexpectedly. It felt as if the lunar energy was illuminating hidden corners of my subconscious, prompting me to confront unresolved feelings. This resonates deeply with the notion that the residue from our past may not be entirely gone, but instead lingers beneath the surface, ready to challenge our present mindset. What struck me most was the timing of these emotional shifts, occurring earlier than my usual cycle tied to the moon's phases. This premature sensation compelled me to engage in deeper self-reflection and acknowledge influences from my astrological chart, especially given the double stellium placements. The combined Virgo and Libra energies seemed to amplify my awareness, helping me discern subtle changes in my emotional landscape. I found journaling to be particularly helpful during this period. Writing down fleeting thoughts and feelings that emerged allowed me to face these emotional remnants without being overwhelmed. It also provided a safe space to question whether these feelings were valid and needed further processing or merely subconscious tests of my growth. One practical approach I embraced was setting clear intentions aligned with my healing goals. Instead of avoiding uncomfortable emotions, I welcomed them as valuable guides for deeper inner work. This mindset shift made the lunar experience more empowering and less daunting. For those navigating similar phases, it might help to observe how your body and emotions react to lunar influences, especially during a Scorpio Full Moon known for its intensity in unveiling what’s hidden. Engaging in mindful practices like meditation or gentle movement can support grounding and emotional clarity. Ultimately, this experience confirmed that healing is often non-linear, and what we perceive as 'done' may require revisiting to achieve true release. Embracing this cyclical nature of emotional processing can be transformative, fostering lasting growth and self-awareness.
