My daughter devoured her pacifier!

I have absolutely loved these pacifiers since the day they came in and I stuck one in my daughters mouth.

The brand is nini.co, they make breast like pacifiers for breastfed babies! How cool is that?!

For the first two months of my daughters life she didn’t use a pacifier at all. Around 3 months I introduced these to her because she would overfeed due to using me as a pacifier causing her to spit up frequently.

Nini.co was also super easy to wean off of because they are super thin to mimic skin once I noticed she was biting them I knew it was no longer a necessity. Within the first 3 days of no pacifier she was going to sleep with breastfeeding only, then after a week she goes to sleep now on her own!

Many parents face challenges with pacifier use, including overfeeding and dependency, but pacifiers can be weaned effectively when the baby becomes more independent. Interactive methods such as gradually reducing pacifier use while promoting other soothing techniques can create a positive experience for both infant and parent. Choosing high-quality pacifiers designed to resemble breastfeeding can ease this process, as seen in numerous case studies and parent testimonies. It's advisable to consult pediatric advice on pacifier use duration and signs that a child is ready to stop using one. By focusing on positive reinforcement and establishing a good bedtime routine, parents can help their children transition smoothly away from pacifiers, fostering a sense of security and independence in their little ones. Parents often share their tips on platforms like Lemon8 for connecting with others in similar situations!
