It’s ok to miss someone
Missing someone who has hurt you deeply can trigger a confusing mix of emotions. It's a reminder that human feelings are not always straightforward or easy to manage. From my own experience, I found that allowing myself to acknowledge my feelings of missing someone—even when they hurt me—was a crucial step towards healing. Instead of suppressing the pain or guilt, I embraced those feelings as natural and valid. During such times, reaching out anonymously to share your thoughts or read others' experiences can be very comforting. It helps to know you are not alone and to gain different perspectives on coping mechanisms. Journaling or talking to trusted friends can also help process complex emotions. It’s important to recognize that missing someone doesn't mean you have to go back or justify their hurtful actions. It simply means that part of you still cherishes the good moments or is grieving the loss of what could have been. Healing takes time, and being patient with yourself is key. Remember to prioritize your well-being and surround yourself with supportive people who encourage your growth. Ultimately, accepting that it’s okay to miss someone, even if they hurt you badly, is a step toward emotional resilience. It allows you to understand your feelings fully and move forward with greater self-awareness and strength.
