It’s reassuring that while criminal charges may not always apply, thorough investigations and reflections are needed to address underlying concerns. From my perspective, raising informed, empathetic young people involves encouraging them to recognize their privileges and use them wisely to advocate for change without unintentionally stirring conflict. This balancing act requires patience, ongoing dialogue, and support within families and communities. Above all, I have learned that empowering Gen Z to speak out against injustices, while guiding them on constructive approaches, contributes meaningfully to a safer and more equitable learning environment. This journey reflects a collective effort to prepare our youth to lead with conscience and courage.
