Less is more!!!

My first time breastfeeding has been a whirlwind for sure. I had no idea how to freeze my breastmilk when I started to have an oversupply- so I’m sharing to help other moms out there!

1. Get those air bubbles out!!! Air bubbles make it difficult to store in the freezer, but more importantly can cause freezer burn!

2. Less is more! Don’t fill breastmilk storage bags with more than 4oz for each bag! It makes it so much easier for them to lay flat in the freezer, which makes it easier to stack them!

3. Use your baby’s bottle brand to measure out the amount of milk in each bag. DO NOT use the measurements on the bag. These bags are not accurate at all. When I put 3oz in bags have said 6oz! Double the product!!!
