What I Wore to the Park This Spring!🌼🌱
Spring is coming, and ofc I went to see some flowers hehee🫶🏻🌼 Lemon8 Fashion
This floral dress from Rosegallete is really light and comfy!! I got it from Tiktok Shop for less than $20! They have adjustable straps, which is really nice cuz most sundresses fall down on me (cuz *cough* there's not much on my chest area to support the dress...🤣) anyway, they have elastic on the waist area, so it helps to give an illusion of shape on my rectangular shaped body. I usually wear size S(4), but since they have an adjustable strap and I know I'd like to layer em with an inner shirt, I picked size M(6) and it fits my needs perfectly! Stitching is really neat and pattern is solid. They're gonna last a long long time!
For the inner shirt, it's a No Boundaries T-shirt that's on clearance at Walmart, I think I bought it for $4!! (somehow the label is XL on this one but it fits me just fine, so probably that's the reason for the clearance ha ha ha) They're breathable, elastic, comfy, and most importantly for a white shirt: not see through!!
I really like the platform shoes btw! They look chunky but actually are lightweight. They have 2" soles (which I need as a 5.2ft girl to make my legs look longer ha ha ha). Got this from Alan Vincent (Shein store). For sizing I usually wear 7.5 but I ordered size 8 after reading the reviews and I'm glad I read the reviews!! and again, got this for less than $20! I really like em I bought another pair in pure white color!!😆
For the bucket hat, I can't recall guys (sorry) since this is a gift from a friend years ago and the label is all washed out lol
Overall I'll rate this outfit as 10/10, considering their pricing, comfort, fabric, quality, and looks!!
Note: I don't really touch the flowers, and there's no flowers where I sat 🫶🏻

Spring is truly my favorite season to reinvent my wardrobe with fresh, breezy styles that keep me comfortable while looking cute. I personally love sundresses like the Rosegallete floral dress mentioned here because their adjustable straps and elastic waistline not only add comfort but also create a flattering shape, especially for rectangular body types like mine. Layering it with a simple, breathable white inner shirt is a great hack to make it suitable for cooler spring days or for a modesty layer without sacrificing style or comfort. When it comes to shoes, platform sandals with moderate sole height are a hidden gem for those of us who want to appear a bit taller without the discomfort of heels. I found similar lightweight platforms that add height yet remain comfortable enough for park strolls and casual outings. Pro tip: reading user reviews on shoe sizing can truly save you from ordering the wrong fit, as sizing may vary across brands. Also, accessories like bucket hats are not only trendy but functional for sun protection during outdoor activities. Even if you don’t remember the brand, a simple, neutral bucket hat pairs perfectly with almost any spring outfit. Lastly, budget shopping on platforms like TikTok Shop or Walmart clearance sections can lead to awesome finds under $20, proving that you don’t have to break the bank to look stylish and feel great. Overall, assembling outfits that blend comfort, affordability, and aesthetic appeal enhances the enjoyment of spring outings to parks, gardens, or any outdoor venue. This personal approach to styling encourages experimenting with layers, adjusting fits for your body shape, and picking versatile pieces adaptable for multiple occasions.
