... Read moreIt's always fun to share a little about ourselves, and while I've given you a peek into my world with those 6 facts, there's always so much more to explore! When I chose the name Skull Keeper, it wasn't just a cool aesthetic for my cosplay (though I do love a good skull mask and skeletal ribcage design!). It truly reflects a deep-seated fascination I have. My journey into collecting bones and skulls started years ago – it's a unique interest, I know! For me, each skull-like object tells a story of life and the natural world. It’s not morbid; it’s a way to connect with nature's artistry and history. I often find myself searching for ethically sourced pieces, and each one adds a new layer to my personal collection, which has become a source of peace and inspiration. It’s part of what makes my online persona feel so authentic to me, from the art I create to the costumes you see me in. Speaking of costumes, my cosplay journey, especially creating 'She Ghost,' has been such an incredible creative outlet. What started as a simple idea – reimagining a fierce character – grew into something that truly resonated with people. The process of bringing a character to life, from crafting intricate details like a skull mask or designing a new tactical-style outfit, to embodying their spirit through poses, is incredibly rewarding. If you're thinking about getting into cosplay, my biggest tip is just to dive in! Don't worry about perfection; focus on the joy of creating and expressing yourself. It's a fantastic way to blend your passions, whether it's gaming, storytelling, or just loving unique aesthetics. And then there's the powerlifting. Many people are surprised to learn about my athletic background alongside my creative pursuits. For years, the gym was my second home. It taught me discipline, resilience, and the sheer power of setting a goal and working tirelessly to achieve it. While I no longer compete, that foundational strength – both physical and mental – carries over into every aspect of my life. It fuels my personal training and coaching business, where I get to help others find their own strength, and it certainly helps when I’m hauling around cosplay props or spending hours perfecting a pose! It’s all about finding balance and letting every part of your journey contribute to the amazing person you are becoming. What surprising hobbies do you have that people might not expect?
