I hate long acrylic nails…
What’s the point in having them???? Like I’m so confused on what is the whole purpose of them, people can’t do nothing with them while wearing it. All you hear is the clicking of their nails on their phones and them crying about their nails getting chipped/snapped/broken within the next 20 minutes of getting them. PLUS they have to be even more careful with their hands as to not have the acrylics snap on top of their actual nail and bleed. Don’t mind me it’s just my point of view, not trying to offend no one.
Acrylic nails have become increasingly popular in nail fashion, yet they come with their drawbacks. While they provide an aesthetically pleasing look, many users report struggles with practicality. Users often find that long acrylic nails can hinder daily activities, making even simple tasks like texting or typing more challenging. The sound of nails tapping on screens can be frustrating, and the concern about nails chipping or breaking adds stress. Moreover, maintaining long acrylic nails often requires extra caution to prevent damage both to the acrylic and the natural nails underneath. Many enthusiasts report a steep learning curve when adjusting to the upkeep of these nails. For those curious about alternatives, styles like short nails or natural nail enhancements can be worth exploring. Whether it's for convenience, comfort, or personal preference, the decision to wear long acrylic nails is not universally embraced. The conversation on nail styles continues to evolve, inviting diverse opinions and experiences within the beauty community.

It’s just aesthetic not like there’s a point of having short acrylics either. I personally love them as a cosmo student, there’s a lot more design and creative opportunities with more space, not for everyone but I rly love when ppl want me to do long sets on them
