Strawberry Salsa 🍓

I was craving chocolate covered strawberries but I actually saw someone post this online. I quickly ran to my nearest ShopRite of Mansfield and they had everything I needed! Especially for a Sunday. Here are the ingredients below -

Strawberries

Chocolate

Caramel drizzle

Brown Sugar (if wanted)

Parchment paper

First thing you want to do is melt the chocolate. I poured a little handful in a glass bowl, added a little bit of butter (so it doesn’t burn) and microwaved it in 30 second intervals. I then took a spoon and made little heart shapes on the parchment paper! Make sure to make them pretty thick, you want to use them as a “chip” for the strawberry dip. I added brown sugar to a few pieces before sticking them in the freezer.

Now it’s time to wash a few strawberries! After you wash and dry them, it’s time to dice them into little pieces. Add them into a bowl, add caramel to taste, and after about 2/3 hours - enjoy!
