I told myself I was gonna rate books differently this year and if I went by my new rating system this book would be a 4 ⭐️ but I can’t help it I liked the vibes so it’s 5⭐️! 😂
I listed to the audio book for this and normally I struggle to get through audiobooks cause I get so bored but I was ignoring phone calls just so I could keep listening to it 😭😂
Leah just got accepted into an academy on a track scholarship but it seems like everyone is out to get her from the start! A teacher who is selling grades to his wealthiest students, teammates who want to see her fail, a murder investigation, and a boyfriend who seems too good to be true.
Some of my problems with the book:
•Leah’s hands were so sweaty she dropped something every chapter it felt like 😂 girl at this point go to the doctor to have that checked out your hands shouldn ’t be sweating that much. (Coming from someone with sweaty hands)
•I guessed the killer at the end of the book
•I wanted more of her mom and Danny’s family drama!
Even tho I guessed the ending I didn’t guess that she would be the one to murder her teacher in the middle of the book. I would honestly love another book that follows then next semester because what do you mean the investigation was just dropped and Leah and Danny are gonna go to the same school still after he literally tried to kill her cause she killed his uncle ?!?! Ugh confusing 🙄
Overall I liked the vibes and I would probably buy the physical copy to keep as a trophy on my shelf! So that’s why I’m giving it 5⭐️
