1 Day Trip in Hangzhou (Hangzhou)

Hangzhou is the major city of Zhejiang Province, China, one of China's six ancient capitals with a history of more than 2,200 years, and is so famous as a city of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage that it is called a "paradise on earth."

1.West Lake (Xihu)

Xihu Lake. It is one of the famous natural and cultural attractions and was regarded as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in c.2011 under the name West Lake Cultural Landscape in Hangzhou.

One of the 10 views of Xihu Lake is therefore an ideal spot for those who want to escape the chaos in the city and enjoy the beauty of Hangzhou's nature, history and culture.

3. Hangzhou Botanical Garden

Hangzhou Botanical Garden is another very important retreat and learning place in Hangzhou.

(There is a museum of Han Mei Lin inside the botanical garden, and popular people come to take pictures with monk head sculptures.)

4.Leifeng Pagoda

Hangzhou's famous and historically important pagoda is associated with the Chinese folklore of "The White Snake," which says that the White Snake Queen (Bai Xujen) was imprisoned in this pagoda by the Buddhist monk.

Visiting the Leifeng Pagoda inside, there are the remains of the old pagoda to watch, and if going up the pagoda, a magnificent view of West Lake (Xihu) can be seen.

5.Jingci Temple

Named the Jewel of the Southern and Northern Mountains, the State Council declared it an important national Buddhist temple in the Han Autonomous Region in 1983.

Jingshi Temple is associated with the story of the Buddha Jiggong, or Mad Buddha, a monk who behaved pagan but was merciful and powerful. In the past, after the Buddha Jiggong was expelled from Lingyin Temple, he moved to this temple.

6.Hefang Old Street

Hefang Pedestrian Street (Hefang Street /), also known as Qinghefang Ancient Street (), is a historical district and one of the most famous pedestrian streets in Hangzhou City.

The street has been a commercial and cultural center since the Southern Song Dynasty, the former capital of China, filling Hefang Street with the charm of a well-preserved old city.

7.Hubin Road

It is a large area called Hubin Pedestrian Street, which is the perfect combination of the magnificent nature of Xihu Lake with the modernization of the city. And it is one of the pedestrian streets regarded as China's "National Demonstration Pedestrian Street."
