I fckin hate my job
i’ve been at my job for a year now. I love what I do and I love my job. But the management at my job has been horrible. I’ve been told on multiple occasions that I was supposed to be getting a promotion. I went through the training expecting. to start my new position in the following few weeks. Fast forward weeks months have gone by and I still haven’t been put in the promotion position that I trained for. Every time I’d ask about the promotion, my managers would give me the runaround. Till one day I came in to find out that my coworker had been given the promotion that I went through the training for.
The last couple of weeks I was sick with ovarian cyst, CHS, and a urinary tract infection. These have had me out of work multiple times in the last three weeks not to mention I’ve been dealing with anxiety, stress, and depression. Which I also made known to my job what I was dealing with .
Once I return to work, I had to fill out my sickleave information. I had over 30 hours of sick time saved up that I was ready to use. I filled out the papers for the days that I was absent to my best knowledge. I turned it into my manager, who then was supposed to turn it in to payroll. Today I got my paystub in my email. My check was significantly low than normal. I messaged my manager to see how we can fix it. He proceeds to tell me the folowing ( See pictures). He claims that my papers were filled out incorrectly. I’m confused because as my manager before you turned them in, you should have at least skimmed them to make sure everybody’s paper was done correctly. I proceeded to ask him. How do I fix this problem? He’s in left me on read. There are other things that have happened this month that also play into my decision of whether I should quit my job. I know I need the money and it’s hard to find jobs now. But for my mental health, it is dangerous for me to stay at this job. My family and friends have mixed views on what I should do. Comment your opinion to help me make my decision. I greatly appreciate any advice.
