Maturing as a Christian is understanding that joy and fulfillment don’t have to be tied to sin…
The world may tell us that “fun” means crossing boundaries, but true joy comes from living in alignment with God’s will. You can laugh, love, and embrace life without stepping outside of His plan. Living for God isn’t restrictive—it’s freeing.
As I grow in my faith, I’ve also learned an important truth: If God has something meant for your life, you don’t have to chase it or fight to keep it. His plans for us are perfect, and what He gives will stay as long as it aligns with His purpose.
Instead of chasing temporary things, we can rest in the peace of knowing that He provides exactly what we need in His perfect timing.

– James 1:22
Choosing to live for Him is the real joy, and trusting His plans brings peace beyond understanding. Let go of the chase, and let God lead.

As Christians, we are called to a higher standard, and this involves daily obedience to God's word. Knowing the Bible and claiming to be a follower of Jesus involves more than just words; it requires action and commitment. Failure to live out our beliefs can make us no different from those who do not follow Christ.
We often find ourselves distracted by temporary pleasures that the world promotes, but God assures us that what He has for us is far more rewarding and lasting. Aligning ourselves with God's plans frees us from the pressures of needing to fight for what we want; instead, we can rest in knowing that God takes care of our needs in His perfect timing.
It's vital to let go of the need to control our lives and allow God to lead the way. This submission leads to a peace that surpasses understanding, reinforcing our journey of faith and growth. Trusting in His timing and purpose not only simplifies our lives but also deepens our joy as we walk through our faith journey.
