Year of Discovery
Loving Out Loud
⸻
Core Message
It is one thing to say it.
It is another thing to display it.
When you are in relationship with God, He begins to affirm you.
When you start seeing what God sees in you, you start acting differently.
What kind of leader can you be if you do not know how to serve well?
⸻
Serve With Conviction
David received affirmation.
He received instruction.
He served.
But he did not just serve casually.
He served with conviction.
Serving with conviction means I am willing to give God the best that I have.
Affirmation plus instruction plus conviction shaped him before his platform ever did.
⸻
God Is Changing Your Relationships
As God opens opportunities for service, He also exposes you to new relationships.
He will put you around certain people.
He will shift your circle.
He will change your crew.
Do not become simple in this season.
God is showing you what authentic spiritual relationships look like.
Many relationships fail quickly because we look for what entertains us instead of what strengthens us.
We look for what feels good instead of what grows us.
⸻
Divine Connections
David was on his way to purpose.
And he found a friend he was not even looking for.
It was not a relationship he chased.
It was one God revealed.
When was the last time you truly connected with someone?
When you give God the opportunity to display His love through you, He may bless you with relationships you have never seen before.
Keep trusting Him.
He will place people in your life who feel like a breath of fresh air.

Scripture Focus
1 Samuel 18:1 to 4
After David finished speaking with Saul, he met Jonathan.
There was an immediate bond between them.
Jonathan loved David as he loved himself.
Jonathan made a covenant with David and gave him his robe, tunic, sword, bow, and belt.
This was more than friendship.
This was covenant connection.
