REPOST!!!
I recently found myself diving back into the world of HFJONE, and I just had to draw Liam again! There's something so captivating about his character, and I really wanted to try and capture his unique personality in this latest fan art piece. When I sit down to draw Liam, I always think about his journey and how he reacts to different situations in the show. He's such a complex character, isn't he? From his initial appearances to his later developments, there's so much depth to explore. What truly draws me to Liam is his compelling blend of stoicism and unexpected moments of vulnerability. He often comes across as very serious or even a bit jaded, but you can sense a lot going on beneath the surface. I try to convey that in his expressions – maybe a slight furrow in his brow or a hint of melancholy in his eyes. It’s challenging but incredibly rewarding to depict an object show character with such nuanced emotions. You can interpret so much from his subtle actions and limited dialogue, which makes him a fantastic subject for fan art, especially when focusing on the intricacies of his personality. Getting inspiration for my art often comes from rewatching episodes or seeing other incredible fan creations online. Sometimes I'll scroll through platforms like TikTok, where artists share speedpaints and unique interpretations of characters. It's amazing how a quick video can spark a new idea for a pose or a color palette. Sharing my own work, like this drawing of Liam, feels like contributing to that vibrant community. It's not just about drawing; it's about connecting with others who love these shows as much as I do, finding new artists, and even discovering trending art styles that influence my next piece. This isn't my first time drawing Liam, and it definitely won't be my last! Each time, I feel like I learn something new about his design or find a different angle to express his character. For this piece, I focused on a more stylized, almost 'SPolaroid' snapshot feel, trying to give it a unique vibe. Object shows like HFJONE have such a special place in my heart because of how well-developed their characters are, despite their seemingly simple designs. They prove that you don't need complex human forms to tell compelling stories and create memorable personalities that resonate deeply with fans. If you're an aspiring artist or just a fellow fan looking to get into drawing your favorite object show characters, my biggest tip is to really study their expressions and body language in the show. Think about what makes them unique. Is it their posture, their eyes, or even just how they interact with other characters? For Liam, it's often his quiet strength and the way he observes things. Don't be afraid to experiment with different styles and mediums. Every drawing is a step forward, and sharing your art, whether on Lemon8 or other platforms, is a great way to get feedback and connect with the community. Who knows, maybe your art will inspire someone else to explore their creative side, just like other creators in the fandom might inspire me!
