Literally !! 🤪😂😂
Being a mom to two toddlers while expecting a baby is like running a nonstop mental marathon. Your brain is constantly juggling multiple tasks—checking on the kids, planning meals, managing playtimes, and preparing for the newborn—all while trying to keep your sanity intact. From personal experience, I can say that the sound inside my head is often like a chaotic mix of reminders, worries, and moments of joy. There are days filled with endless energy and laughter, and others when exhaustion hits, and my brain feels like it's on overload. One of the biggest challenges is the constant switch between roles: caregiver, entertainer, planner, and sometimes referee. Toddlers demand attention for their boundless activities, yet the anticipation of a new baby adds an emotional and physical toll, making every day unpredictable. To cope, I found that routines help anchor the chaos. Simple habits like setting consistent nap times, having dedicated play areas, and preparing meals in advance lighten the mental load. It’s also vital to accept that it’s okay to ask for help and take moments for self-care. The humor in this mental cacophony is what keeps me going. Laughing at the absurdity of it all makes the exhausting days memorable in the best way. Ultimately, being a mom with two toddlers and a baby on the way is challenging, but it’s also an incredible journey filled with love, growth, and unforgettable moments.
