It is book one of a four book series of stand-alone, called "Court High". This one is about Royal Prinze and Emily Lindquist. They both go to Windsor Prepatory Academy and Emily was came to the school due to the disappearance of her sister Paige. As she's learning to navigate her new life of living with her dad and going to a new school; she meets the popular guy in school, who is also her sister's best friend, Royal Prinze. Already with the challenges of finding her sister and existing around her strict father, she now has to navigate her feelings for the most popular guy in school.
