I messed up !!!

I’m trying to really be successful in my custom made business. I think this design is really cool but I did burn the purse a bit.

Do y’all think someone will buy still for a discounted price or should I count my losses?

Original price is $200, I would sell for $130. Should I go lower ?

You mentioned that your purse originally priced at $200 sustained a burn and you're considering selling it for $130. Discounting items can attract buyers who are looking for unique deals, particularly if they appreciate craftsmanship over perfection. Consider the following: 1. **Highlight Unique Selling Points**: Focus on the uniqueness of your custom-made item. Many buyers seek out distinctive pieces, and they may overlook minor flaws if the overall design and craftsmanship are strong. 2. **Market for Value**: Emphasize the value the buyer gets by purchasing a distinctive item at a discounted rate. For instance, framing the discounted price as an opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind design can increase interest. 3. **Gauge Your Market**: Conducting market research can help you understand how to price similar damaged items. Look at platforms like Etsy or eBay to see how other sellers handle items with slight imperfections. 4. **Set Your Emotional Attachment Aside**: It’s tough to let go of items you’ve created, but keep in mind that buyers may be more interested in the uniqueness rather than the small flaw. In conclusion, if the discount is fair and aligns with market expectations, you may find a buyer willing to appreciate your work beyond imperfections.

what that design where things are supposed to look worn... I think it's called distressed? like how jeans or hoodies are distressed ex. ripped, singed and bleached. I agree make it part of it because someone is always in the market for that
