Read moreReflecting on the quote, "Time decides who you meet in life, your heart decides who you want in your life, and your behavior decides who stays in your life," I realize how deeply these elements intertwine in our personal relationships. Over the years, I've noticed that the people we encounter often come into our lives unexpectedly—sometimes as fleeting acquaintances, other times as lifelong friends or partners. Time brings us together, but it's truly our heart that determines who we cherish and want closer to us. Yet, even beyond our desires, it is our behavior—the way we treat others, our consistency, kindness, and respect—that influences who chooses to remain part of our lives. In my experience, investing in positive behavior, such as active listening and empathy, has strengthened many relationships I value dearly. It's also important to recognize that sometimes people leave despite our best efforts, which is a natural part of life's flow. Embracing this helps us focus on nurturing connections that are mutual and fulfilling. Ultimately, understanding this triad can lead to more intentional relationships and personal growth, helping us surround ourselves with those who truly matter.
