Easy Balsamic Brussels Sprouts in the Air-Fryer

Step 1: wash the Brussel Sprouts

Step 2: cut the stems off and then cut in half (whatever falls off you can discard)

Step 3: put the brussel sprouts in a big enough bowl to mix

Step 4: add 1-2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar (to your preference)

(If you don't have balsamic, you can substitute with 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar plus ½ teaspoon sugar to substitute for 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar)

Step 5: add a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper (and paprika if you want a little kick) AND make sure all brussel sprouts are coated evenly

Step 6: place in air fryer at 400 for 15 mins (check around 10 mins to check, may be less or more time depending on how many brussel sprouts you are cooking)

Step 7: remove from air-fryer and ENJOY!

If you want some more protein you can cook up some bacon while the Brussels are being cooked and chop them into pieces and add them to the Brussels when they are finished cooking

... Read moreBrussels sprouts are a nutrient-dense vegetable, rich in vitamins K and C, and they also provide fiber and antioxidants. When air-fried, they develop a delightful crispiness while retaining their nutritional benefits. A balsamic glaze enhances their natural earthiness, making this dish both tasty and healthy. For added flavor, consider marinating the Brussels sprouts in balsamic vinegar for at least 30 minutes before air frying. This allows the sprouts to absorb the tangy flavor thoroughly. If you're looking for a burst of sweetness, try adding a drizzle of honey or maple syrup to your dressing. Additionally, you can mix in other vegetables like carrots or sweet potatoes for a colorful, flavor-packed medley. Pairing these air-fried Brussels with proteins like grilled chicken or salmon makes for a wholesome meal. Enjoy experimenting with different seasonings such as garlic powder, or cayenne pepper, to suit your taste preferences!
