Are you on a calorie deficit?
I’ve recently started on a calorie deficit and I’m finding it’s worked really well so far, but I’m still exploring what to eat.
MyFitnessPal has a new program out where you can meal plan and it will send a grocery list to your store. It takes into account your TDEE and what you specifically need, then asks if you want to eat balanced, low carb, etc.
I’ve tried many many different diets, but with having PCOS, it’s hard to find the right way. So I think I’ll stick to a calorie deficit. What has worked for you and what are your success stories and your fails?

A calorie deficit occurs when you consume fewer calories than your body burns, making it essential for weight loss. Many individuals, especially those managing conditions like PCOS, find it beneficial to adopt a structured approach to dieting. Utilizing apps such as MyFitnessPal can streamline meal planning and grocery shopping by generating lists based on your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) and dietary preferences, such as balanced or low-carb meals. Understanding what to eat while on a calorie deficit is crucial for success. Whole foods, lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables should be prioritized, as they provide essential nutrients while keeping calorie counts lower. Meal prepping can also help in making healthier choices easier and more convenient. Engaging with communities on social media can offer additional support and motivation. Sharing success stories and challenges can foster a sense of camaraderie among those on similar journeys. Explore hashtags like #pcosweightlossjourney and #eatinginadeficit to connect with others, gain insights, and participate in discussions that can make your dieting experience more enriching. Remember, every individual’s journey is unique, and finding the right balance is key to sustainable weight management.
