I've been comb'n out my loc's over the last 3 months.

Literally taking one loc down a day 🤣. Over the last two weeks, the girls stepped in to help me get these locs down before I go into labor and we are almost done yall. 11 locs to go.

I don't really care about how much hair comes out. I just want them comb'd out. I've never been a big believer of "hair holding energy" but Omgg every time we get a loc down I can just feel a little more weight coming off. Loved my locs but I'm ready for something different for now.

... Read moreRemoving locs can be a deeply personal and transformative experience. From my own journey, taking down each loc daily allowed me to mentally and physically prepare for a new chapter, especially with labor approaching. Many people believe that locs carry not just hair but energy and memories tied to them. I found that with every loc I combed out, there was a sense of relief and release, as if shedding old layers to welcome change. Involving close friends in the process made it more supportive and less overwhelming, turning what could be a daunting task into a bonding experience. It's important to be gentle with your hair during detangling and to use proper moisturizing and conditioning products to minimize breakage. For those considering removing locs, patience is key. Taking your time—whether one loc a day or more—helps maintain hair health and gives space to emotionally transition. Also, use this phase to care for your scalp, especially when preparing for life changes like pregnancy or labor. The feeling of 'weight coming off' is not only physical but emotional. Locs can symbolize identity, strength, and time; releasing them might bring an unexpected sense of freedom. Whether you plan to grow your hair differently afterward or just want a fresh look, this time allows reflection and transformation. Even if you're not a believer in 'hair holding energy,' the process of changing your hairstyle can influence how you feel internally. Embrace the journey, and remember that your hair is just one aspect of your evolving story.

Loc comb out
Decided to comb out my locs that I’ve had for 4 years . I want to restart but I think I’ll bring my hair to a healthier state for about a year then start again. I love the convenience of locs but I wasn’t in love with the way they looked . #blackgirlandherlocs #nomorelocs #locnation #locs

Combing out my dreads
So the fun has begun and I’m already impressed, nervous, anxious, etc. On 6/3/24 I asked a staff to could my dreads. I have 107 to take down. The goal is to do 7 today. Then 10 everyday afterwards. That would put me at a completion date of 6/14/24. It’s a lot of work so I doubt

Had this wig for 2 years now
When the quality of the hair is good your wig can last 3+ years especially with good maintenance in between wears Maintenance includes: •Changing the lace (if needed) overtime the lace can become worn out or start to bald •Washing wig properly if you wash your wig and don’t condition

Microlocs Comb Out after 1.8 Years
I have been on this journey for 1.8 years. I never intended to have microlocs in for a long time. My plan initially was for 5 years. That way I can grow long hair then take them down. I changed my mind and did what my heart was telling me. I honestly miss my loose natural hair. I installed my own M

One min review of the Fekkai Conditioner
Product gifted for free by Fekkai in exchange for my honest review. I was impressed I didn’t need a ton of this conditioner to coat my hair. That’s not the case with a lot of products on the market. I have thick hair, so I usually need a ton of product. I was impressed by how easily this worked
